SUN LIFE PLACE Academy
Our Sun Life Place Kepler Academy is located at 10123 99th Street, on the mezzanine level of Sun Life Place in the heart of downtown Edmonton. We offer full-time childcare for infants, toddlers and children 16 weeks to 6 years old, through our unique Exploratory Education approach. We offer full-time Preschool and Kindergarten program.
Sun Life Place has seven rooms – each purposefully constructed to create an enriched learning environment for your child’s age category and with a capacity for up to 92 children.
A rooftop outdoor playspace, beautifully-constructed with all-natural elements, provides a private space for your child to play, explore, and grow various plants in warmer months.
Kepler recruits only the most qualified and experienced staff that are fully licensed and undergo regular training to ensure optimal care. They will be led by our wonderful Centre Director, Julie Park.
MEET THE DIRECTOR
Julie (Soon-Ock) Park is an internationally-trained teacher and leader in early childhood education. She holds a Master of Arts in TESOL from Leicester, England, an International TESOL Diploma from Vancouver, Canada and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Education from Seoul, Korea. Julie was a teacher for seven years in South Korea before moving to Canada in 2013 with her family. Her passion is working with children of all ages, watching them develop, and supporting them in their unique journeys. She worked as a program supervisor for three years, and also Kepler’s Westlink Centre Assistant Director, before joining the Sun Life Place team as Director.
