MONTESSORI, REGGIO & WALDORF
The Kepler curriculum captures components of three philosophies into one: The Montessori approach, the Reggio method and the Waldorf approach.Register Your Child *Spots still available
The Montessori approach values respect for children as individuals. Through implementing Montessori aspects, children are taught independence, self-confidence, and self-control over impulses and emotions. Kepler sets time aside each day for free play, exploration and child-initiated activities, allowing all children the space to explore and discover at their own pace.
The Reggio method understands that children use many ways to show their understanding of a subject and different ways of expressing their thoughts and creativity. Reggio teaches thinking and discovering through drawing, sculpting, movement, pretend play, music and movement, as well as asking questions and exploring for answers, and Kepler implements these into our daily activities.
The Waldorf approach emphasizes imagination in learning and integrates holistically intellectual/practical and artistic development. Kepler implements a variety of daily activities that inspire creativity, imagination and dramatic play, like plenty of outdoor time, coloring, drawing, painting, reading, and circle time. Further, Kepler promotes diversity and gender inclusivity into daily activities.
