A Year in Review 2025 | Kepler Academy

A new year is here, and we welcome 2026 with enthusiasm! Thank you to all our valued families and educators for their trust, support, and loyalty.

Kepler’s team would like to take moment to reflect on our successes from 2025, a year filled with growth. Here are some highlights from this year:

• Awarded Top Choice Childcare Centre

At the beginning of 2025, we started the year with the news that we won the Top Choice award for the 5^th year running.

• 1 New Academy

This year, Kepler Academy opened a new location, Kepler Academy Summerside, welcoming over 215 new children and families.

• 1 Expansion

In November, we expanded Kepler Academy Oxford in North Edmonton, expanding by 4 classrooms, creating over 50 new spaces for children.

• 1 Upcoming Academy

In mid 2025, our team started construction at our upcoming centre in Cy Becker, set to open in early 2026. Kepler Cy Becker is at the new development at 4134 167 Street NW.

• 100 New Educators

Kepler’s team of Early Childhood Educators grew by over 100 new certified, passionate educators, supporting all locations, as well as new centres.

• 350+ New Families

With our new centre opening, a centre expansion, and families aging out of care, we welcomed over 350 new children.

• 1,515 Total Families Attending

Now, with 11 academies, we have served over 1,500 families with high quality, educational childcare.

• New Software Program, Parent App!

Our entire team worked hard to adopt a new software program, supporting families with a brand-new childcare communication app.

• Second Annual Family Picnic

Kepler’s team hosted a successful second annual Family Picnic at Rundle Park! Watch the event video here.

Our highlights:

• 1. We hosted over 300 families!
  2. Over 26 team members volunteered to make the day a success.
  3. Held the event in support of the Kids with Cancer Society.

• Exceptional Educators & Programming

Each day at our centres, our Educators implemented Kepler’s Exploratory Education approach! We launched our new school curriculum for Stargazers, Explorers and Navigators.

• Music and Fitness Enrichment

Our very own in-house instructors for music (Ms. Rebecca) and fitness (Ms. Kyla) delivered 2,000+ hours of enrichment programming for children across our academies!

• Daily Nutrition, Chefs & Megan Wallace 

14 kitchen staff, including 11 Chefs and 3 Assistants, delivered our 6-week rotational menu plan that parents continue to rave about! Our Registered Dietitian, Megan Wallace of Sprout Nutrition, hosted two webinars for parents throughout the year, providing valuable information about feeding families balanced meals in the midst of everyday busyness.

• Support Team Growth

We welcomed new team members in accounting and client services, to better support our centres.

• 1 New President

In the new year, we are excited to announce Kepler’s Academy’s new President, who joined us in 2025. Stay tuned for the official announcement…

Upcoming for 2026 – We aren’t slowing down! Besides our new center in Cy Becker, we have in the works a new center opening in Millwoods, and expansion into the Calgary market! Ask us to be added to the email list early.
