The Stellar Program at St. Marguerite

Kepler Academy offers an out-of-school care program within St. Marguerite Catholic School, called The Stellar Program, for students registered in kindergarten through to grade four. Our emergent program is licensed for 26 students. We are now accepting registrations for September 2024.

 

OUT-OF-SCHOOL CARE

We offer a high-quality program, in a safe and engaging setting, that meets the needs and interests of participating students. The foundation of our approach is eight learning pillars, which guide our daily activities, and support every child’s development in their early years.

Megan Vis

MEET THE TEACHER

We are pleased to introduce Megan Vis. She holds her Level 3 in Early Childhood Education from Lakeland College. Ms. Megan has always had a passion for working with children and supporting them with their early literacy skills. Her biggest reward is being able to make a difference in their lives, even if it is something small, like being the reason they smile after having a tough day. She is married and has a beautiful baby boy. Ms. Megan loves going for walks, camping and golfing, and spending quality time with family and friends.

Program Details

 

OPERATING HOURS

Our program provides care for your child in the morning and after school, Monday through Friday, from 6:45am to 5:45pm. This includes Professional Development Days, unless otherwise noted. Our program is closed Statutory holidays.

During July & August, we offer a full-time summer program for students registered. Please note, Kepler will not be able hold spaces open if children withdraw for these months.

FEES

Fees include care for your child during our program hours noted here. The cost of resource materials is included. Please provide your child with an after-school snack as food is not provided. Fees are subject to change with 30 days notice.

GRANTS, SUBSIDY & SIBLING DISCOUNT

Please note, affordability grants are available for kindergarten children only. Subsidy is available to all eligible families. For multiple children, Kepler Academy offers a 10% sibling discount for the eldest child’s fees, calculated after grants and subsidy are deducted.
