Location:

Rundle Family Centre @ Rundle Park – 2909 113 Avenue

Drive all the way to the end of the park, to the building with the yellow roof.

Schedule:                    

Event begins – 10:00 am

Roaming Activities – 10:00 am to 2:00 pm

Hot Dog BBQ Lunch – 11:00 am t0 2:00pm

Chips, Drinks, Condiments & Washrooms – available inside the Rundle Family Centre

Wrap-Up – 2:00 pm

Dietary Needs: 

We will be serving beef hot dogs, as well as vegetarian/halal, and gluten-free/allergy friendly. We will have allergy-friendly buns.

Sponsored Activities: 

• Education Station: giant Plus Plus, kinetic sand, and fun games!
• Hunter the Lynx: the Edmonton Oiler’s Mascot will make an appearance from 12pm – 1pm!
• Face Painting: 5 face painters will be set up for the children
• From Play to Words: fun interactive activities, games, and engagement for your littles
• Pedalheads: bring your child’s bike and helmet to try their course!
• Little Kickers: back this year with soccer drills for littles in the park
• KidStrong: amazing confidence-building activities, and their children’s “tire flip”
• Little Lungs First Aid: will provide on-site First Aid & CPR as well as Lost Child check-in, next to the Registration Tent!

Amenities:

Washrooms are located inside the Rundle Family Centre. There is an infant/toddler Change Table inside the Accessible Washroom. Water fountains are available inside Rundle Family Centre.

Parking:

Ample public parking spaces are available.

Pooches: 

As per our event license, and the City of Edmonton’s bylaws, dogs should not be within 10 meters of the picnic sites or playgrounds. (There is a concern of contamination of food, sand, and children’s play areas) As long as pets are on a leash and are in control of their owners, they are welcome.

Park Respect:

Please ensure garbage is thrown out and the grounds are respected. We want to ensure we can return to a City of Edmonton park next year.

Tickets: This event is complimentary for actively attending Kepler Families & actively employed Kepler Staff.

Lunch will be unavailable for anyone who is not on the RSVP.

Weather: Come prepared! Bring weather appropriate gear, sunscreen, hats, and plenty of water. If we have inclement weather, like poor air quality (smoke) or thunderstorms, we will reschedule the BBQ.
